EastEnders icon James Bye has completed a decade as Martin Fowler in Walford. Long-time viewers know that the beloved actor took the role from former Martin portrayer James Alexandrou in 2014. The popular character has been a part of several big storylines, including his on-and-off relationship with Stacey Slater. We all know that Martin was also blackmailed by Ben Mitchell and left for dead during a robbery staged by Vinny.
To express his gratitude, the star took to Instagram stories and reflected upon his time on the BBC show. He wrote, ‘10 years today… A decade playing The Fowler. What a journey… Huge love to those of you who’ve messaged me on my anniversary today! It means so much.
