EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa has broken silence on the devastating storyline involving her character and Cindy Beale. Regular viewers know that in a bid to buy Lauren’s silence over Kojo’s fall, Cindy has been providing her with non-prescription medication. We know that Lauren is in the midst of a painkiller addiction storyline, which is leading to a lot of chaos.
Things will get worse when Cindy learns that Peter’s girlfriend has been using even while being pregnant. After this, a furious Cindy gave Lauren an ultimatum—she wanted Lauren to tell Peter the truth, or she would. The soap star Jacqueline Jossa has now shed light on her character and Cindy’s storyline and said, “[Lauren] is really worried that Cindy is going to spit the truth out at any moment. Lauren knows she could blow her secret, and it’s added even more pressure.”
She also added that the ultimatum has really scared her alter-ego. Even though Lauren wants to tell Peter, she needs to first get this addiction under control. Jossa highlighted, “Cindy and Lauren are always too-ing and fro-ing. And Lauren had something huge on Cindy with Kojo. But with this, there is a baby involved. So, Lauren knows it’s a ticking time bomb, and something needs to happen.”
