We know that she has suffered a lot this year after her mentor, Pastor Clayton, sexually harassed her. After gaining courage, she later reported her abuser to the police, but things got worse when she learned that he had committed suicide before facing justice. Furthermore, things will get more difficult for her as she struggles to dive into festive cheer.
After getting to know that Pastor Clayton is being buried on Christmas Eve, she will be heartbroken and isolate herself from her family. However, Patrick and Denise will continue to support her. Later, Yolande will get into a tense conversation with Kat Slater and Alfie Moon before getting home where her husband will remind her of their son Pauk’s death anniversary.
On Christmas Eve, Yolande will make amends with Patrick and decide to go to the church.
