EastEnders’ Janine Actress Lands A New Role
EastEnders Icon Charlie Brooks is once again in the headlines as she lands a major role alongside Emmerdale star Liam Fox. The Janine Butcher actress is all set to join the cast of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as it continues its tour of the UK in 2025. We will witness Dan Spencer actor Liam, who’s already in production in the latest gig, too. He will be starring as Grandpa Potts. While Charlie will play the role of Childcatcher.
Furthermore, she will also join the cast in the upcoming summer and take over the role of drag queen The Vivienne. For the unversed, this show follows absent-minded inventor Caractacus Potts who is trying to restore an old car with his kids’ help. The family soon learns that the car has magical powers. It sounds like an interesting story. Brooks will definitely be iconic in it.
As for her stint on the BBC soap, her character was known for all things evil. She has been playing the role on and off since 1999 but she was finally sent to prison in 2022 for her crimes. After leaving the longest-running show, the popular actress starred in the UK tour of The Ocean at the End of the Lane. Charlie is all set to appear on Dancing On Ice later this year.
