During an interview with TV Insider, Thorsten Kaye dished out on his relationship with Brooke. The telly legend hinted that Ridge’s lingering feelings for Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) could be the last straw for her. Steffy’s father hanging around his ex might push Brooke to her breaking point. Thorsten thinks “Brooke’s role was written very well in this [storyline].“
Additionally, he pointed out how Brooke never uttered a word after Ridge humiliated her daughter. But, it’s time for her to burn the bridges with her love. Why? “I do think that Taylor has a lot to do with that,“ Kaye revealed. If you thought Ridge and Brooke were endgame, give up on that Hope.

Now, let’s talk about Taylor. According to Kaye, there’s a “real possibility“ of Ridge and Taylor giving their love another shot. His character sees Taylor as a simpler, drama-free option with no complicated family tree and betrayals. He puts it this way, “Maybe she was always the right choice.“ Ouch! That will sting for Brooke’s fandom.
While there’s no denying Ridge and Brooke share a deep love, their relationship doesn’t come easy on them. With Taylor in the back of Ridge’s mind, it’s only a matter of time before he makes the switch. It would be interesting to see if Brooke will fight to keep her man.
