Long-time viewers know that the couple finally reunited last month after going through a lot of turmoil. We know Tommy became abusive towards his mother in a child-parent abuse storyline. This storyline didn’t end well as Jean ended up contacting social services after Tommy hurt the twins as well.
As a result, the disturbed teen was shifted to Zack’s house, who offered to take him in next door temporarily. But, Kat wasn’t able to meet her son but after a heartfelt discussion with Alfie, Tommy actually tried to change. While heading to their meeting, Kat was glad to have Alfie by his side, and the duo shared a kiss. After being confused about their next steps, they decided to give their relationship another chance.
Kat and Alfie are now a solid couple, and we have all witnessed that after Kat defended her partner in recent scenes. With the soap approaching New Year and Sukeve’s wedding, everyone is feeling a little bit in love. Kat will be seen attending the lesbian couple’s joint hen at Harry’s Barn and this will lead to Freddie suggesting that Kat and Alfie should also get married. Our hearts were truly full when they got back together.
