If you have followed our Coronation Street spoilers, you would know what Chesney, Les’ stepson, has been going through. Since last month, Chesney has been followed by a silver van – though its identity is still unknown. From the actions in the past few scenes, it seems like there’s a silent battle going on. Even though we have no clue who the man in the van is, it turns out that Corrie fans are already there and have made significant progress.
How It All Started
This is just a refresher for you: It all started when a driver suddenly cut Chesney in the parking space, and Chesney blocked him in. The driver then got out of the tight space by damaging Ches’ car instead. While we thought it ended there, it didn’t – over the week, Chesney saw the van following him. Sometimes, it was even parked outside his house. And recently, we even saw Chesney pouring sugar into its petrol tank to get his revenge.
We can’t blame Chesney for getting frustrated because he already has a lot on his plate. Especially with the suspicious death of Les at his workplace, he just can’t connect the dots. When Ches met Les’ work colleagues at the funeral, they told him the abattoir didn’t reveal everything regarding the death. Now that the company has offered Chesney, Toyah, and Leanne Battersby a share of £60,000 for signing the NDA, Chesney’s concerns only kept growing. He has even refused to sign the papers for now.
What Fans Have Thought Of
All these situations have led fans to certain conclusions, especially about Les’s death. One of the most groundbreaking ones was that the man in the van might be Les himself. One fan said, “Hang on. They had the will before the funeral? You’re right. This doesn’t make any sense. Are we sure Les isn’t van man?’ One fan questioned on Twitter/X.”
Another fan chimed in, “Imagine if Les, the van guy, turns up on Christmas Eve at midnight, and Chesney thinks he’s being visited by three ghosts in the middle of the night.” A third one said, “Wonder if the person in the van is Cilla or Les.”
Woah! These conclusions are certainly chilling – and we wouldn’t be surprised if Les comes walking in from the dead. Who can say? We haven’t seen the body yet! But we will have to wait for more Coronation Street Spoilers to be certain! Stay tuned to Soap Opera Daily, and we will be the first one to tell you if Les is coming back!
