Coronation Street spoilers suggest humiliation for Carla Connor as she announces love for Lisa. The duo has finally overcome their tiff after a while, and now everything seems to be on track. But as it is with cobbles – it’s never without drama. Recently, we saw the pair enjoying a spa date where Debbie teased them to be “just friends.” Even though it bothered Lisa, she kept calm. However, her jealousy soon gives in when she sees the client flirting with Carla.
While Lisa is all ready to take the client down for sexual harassment, Carla gets back at her regarding the embarrassment and says she won’t tolerate such kind of behavior. Soon, she opens up about her insecurities and accuses Carla of not being comfortable with her sexuality and succumbing to society’s prejudices. Carla finally agrees to confess.
Betsy Humiliates Carla After Confession
When Lisa gets back to the factory, Carla sticks to her promise and announces her relationship with Lisa to the Underworld staff. Things soon heat up as Betsy throws in a sarcastic comment to get back at her for the earful she got for Mason’s social media post. But Carla tries to make up for it by inviting them both to dinner, but surprise, surprise, Betsy brings in Mason.
Later, it seems like the drama isn’t just for Betsy—Lisa will also have her share of it when the pipe bursts and floods the flat. Thankfully, Carla comes to the rescue and lets them shift to her apartment instead. Lisa goes ahead and, as a token of gesture, organises a romantic lunch for them. Soon, the romantic date is interrupted as she gets called in by Kit Green for an urgent request.
We see Lisa returning later with a bruised face and a split lip – but she assures Carla that she is fine. As the countdown begins on the Rovers, Carla lets the three magical words slip in and confesses her love. What would Lisa’s reaction be to it?
