The coming week’s Emmerdale spoilers suggest tension and fears for the residents as many hidden truths will get uncovered. While Ruby is on the brink of some unsettling discoveries from the DNA test results, Marlon’s worst fear following April’s disappearance is triggered. Elsewhere, Joe is scheming to mend his relationship with Noah—while Cain is still trying to deal with his crisis.
Ruby Gets DNA Results
The next week will begin with Ruby coming in with the DNA test results as she clutches them tight. Eventually, she gets anxious thinking about what the results might reveal—and seems really worried about Steph’s paternity. Later, when Ruby goes ahead to see the results, her husband Caleb Miligan comes in—she stuffs the results in her bag. Ruby’s next try to read the results also fails when Steph comes down from upstairs.
Finally, Ruby decides to destroy the results without looking at them—but maybe she’s too late. Caleb finds the envelope with the return address to a DNA testing company while looking for painkillers in Ruby’s bag. When Ruby comes in, she sees Caleb holding the envelope—has he already discovered the truth? Across the village, Anthony tutors Angelica King—but what are his real motives? However, her mom, Nicola, still doesn’t have a clue about his predatory actions. Meanwhile, we will also see Laurel Thomas insisting Anthony offer more tutoring to her son, Arthur.
Joe Tries to Bond With Noah
Joe is trying to fix his relationship with Noah as he offers him VIP tickets to a Leeds match; however, Charity is frustrated by Joe’s actions. Later, Charity calls Ross to warn Joe not to accompany Noah to the football match. Though the outcome hurts Noah, Charity seems relieved—but Joe is not the one to give up so easily and is already orchestrating his next plan.
Marlon Loses All Hopes for April
Marlon will have a horrific dream sequence in the upcoming episodes that will shake him to the core. He dreams of April’s death but tries to cover his emotions in front of his wife, Rhona. Later, Vanessa shows Marlon the latest news on the Hotten Courier website, where Rhona’s past is used to defame her regarding April’s disappearance. The couple is deeply affected by this—and weeps together, thinking April might be dead for real.
Later in the week, the locals gather again for a fresh search while Rhona receives a message from their police liaison officer. As Marlon searches for leads, Rhona cannot stop thinking about who could have betrayed her to the media. Later, it seems like it was Wendy Posner when we see a journalist blackmailing her regarding Rhona’s article.
As the week winds up, we see Marlon coming across Ross as he rushes to speak to a young girl. After the brief argument between the duo, Ross tries to keep his hopes alive regarding April. But in the end, they both seem quite hopeless once they factor in the possibility of finding April among hundreds and thousands of missing people. Is April alive?
Cain Tries to Bury His Guilt
Moira will be having her radiotherapy session soon—and, next week, we will see her preparing for it. Cain tries his best to support her—but continues to hold on to his big guilty secret. He slept with Ruby during Moira’s brain tumor surgery, and no matter how much he tries, he fails to cope with the guilt. Cain is trying his best to support Moira—but we think he might soon crack and reveal the secret. If he does, the evil Anthony might.
