Meghan Markle Opens Up About Losing Her Dog!
Meghan Markle is mourning the loss of her beloved dog, Guy, whom she rescued in 2015 from a kill shelter in Kentucky. The Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram Tuesday night to share the devastating news about her dog’s death. She also posted a tribute video on her new Instagram account, which featured a series of pictures and videos of the dog. It looks like Guy was a constant presence in Meghan’s life, and she’s really affected.
The former Suits actress captioned the post, “I have cried too many tears to count. The type of tears that make you get in the shower with the absurd hope that the running water on your face will somehow make you not feel them, or pretend they’re not there.” She also thanked her dog for showering her with unconditional love and filling her life in ways nobody could ever have.
The royal mother-of-two adopted Guy from a dog rescue in Canada. Ever since, he has been a big part of Meghan’s life. From her years as a Suits actress to her engagement and wedding to Prince Harry and through her pregnancy. The dog, Guy, also made a cameo in the trailer for Meghan’s upcoming lifestyle Netflix series, With Love, Meghan. Her beloved companion was with him even when she became a mother to two kids.
