Soon, we will see Kevin finding himself at a pivotal moment as he is about to face a life-changing diagnosis. Kevin’s Major Diagnosis
Our beloved Kevin is about to come down with a major health scare as he spots a lump. In the upcoming episodes, we will see Abi still dwelling on Mason’s death while Kevin looks worried. Soon, he confides in Debbie about the lump, who asks him to get medical advice and talk to Abi. But to Kevin’s disappointment, Abi is in tears recalling her dead son, Seb, in the memorial garden.
Realizing it’s not a good time to talk to Abi, Kevin visits Dr Gaddas, who sends him for further tests. As he processes the fear of coming down with a cancer diagnosis, he leans on Tim for support. Later, when Kevin returns home, he finds Abi asleep on the sofa and Alfie upstairs. When Abi sees Alfie nowhere, she accuses Debbie of taking away her son. In the heightened commotion, Kevin blurts out about his lump – and Abi is in utter shock.
Kate Hints At Storyline Twist
With the announcement of the upcoming issue-based storyline for the Webster family, producer Kate Brooks gave away major hints about the upcoming twists. Recently, she opened up about Kevin’s testicular cancer diagnosis, which will strain Abi and Kevin’s relationship. Though Abi is always seen as a strong character, Kate talks about her turmoil, too.
Kate has also shared about the show bosses’ plan to introduce Kevin and Debbie’s half-brother Carl Webster soon in the soap. She also revealed Carl’s identity – he will be the son of Billy Webster and his second wife Elaine and is in his late 30s. Before wrapping it up, she even hinted at big storylines for the Barlows, the Platts, and the Websters. We can’t wait to see how these storylines unfold.
