EastEnders Spoilers: Will Phil Help His Friend, Nigel?
EastEnders Spoilers revealed a heartbreaking twist about Nigel Bates recently. Regular viewers know that Nigel returned to Walford and met with his old friend, Phil Mitchell. We also know that the iconic character has been hiding something big from everyone. Even though he told everyone that he had split up with his wife, Julie, she’s been texting him out of worry and concern.
This week, the Walford hardman made a huge decision of signing over half of the Boxing Den over to his friend, Nigel. But, Nigel was reluctant to accept this deal and told Phil that he’s making a mistake, keeping in mind that he didn’t know a thing about boxing or business. As for Phil, he remained adamant about it. Elsewhere in the cafe, Billy and Yolande were talking about the Boxing Den, which led to Nigel getting overwhelmed, and he ran off.
Along with Billy, Sharon and other Mitchell family members are also concerned about Phil’s reckless decision. To make matters worse, Nigel told Sharon that he had heard Phil wandering about in the night, which pushed her to the edge. Phil’s family asked him if he was struggling with some undisclosed health – which led Nigel to run off again. He then crossed paths with Yolande at the laundrette.

While speaking to Yolande, Nigel told her that he just came back to see some familiar faces and didn’t mean to create problems. After spotting an alarm for dinner on his phone, Yolande understood that Nigel was dealing with some issues. He then revealed that he has dementia and broke down into tears.
