The latest Emmerdale spoilers hint at the worst for Ruby as she tries to uncover a truth that might ruin her relationships. As we can recall, when Anthony first came to the village, he mentioned that Caleb was not Steph’s dad. A couple of weeks after that, Ruby’s shocking revelation that her father abused her as a teenager. Since then, Ruby has doubts about Steph’s paternity and is now set to discover the truth.
Ruby Reacts Seeing A Picture
In past episodes, we saw Ruby talking to Chas and taking action to discover the truth. She even had a DNA test done to determine whether Steph is Caleb’s daughter. As she waits for the reports to come in, she is anxious. The worst part is – it’s clearly visible in her behavior. As a result, Ruby instantly snapped when Steph handed over a picture of her pregnancy from a memory box. As viewers, we know what Ruby was going through – and the last thing she needed was a recall.
Ruby’s behavior stunned both Steph and Caleb. As Steph rushed out, seeing Ruby’s outburst, Caleb seemed frustrated, as he couldn’t understand the reason behind it. Referring to the same incident, Beth Cordingly shared that maybe it was all due to talking to Chas and the pressure of her dad being around her. Beth also adds that Ruby is really struggling, and Chas is only trying to calm her down, thinking Caleb would be supportive.
Additionally, she said that Ruby is obviously terrified, but it is a real problem, having not known for 30 years. She thinks Ruby doesn’t want to be tortured anymore with her thoughts.
