The latest Coronation Street spoilers focus on the aftermath of Mason’s tragic death, where Joseph’s admissions only fuel the fire. We already know how Mason was stabbed to death by his brother. But maybe there was a scope for him to live if the ambulance arrived earlier. But as the ambulance resources, Asha and Dev revealed, a hoax call delayed them. Eventually, the teenager succumbed to his wounds.
Joseph Is Overwhelmed With Guilt
The drama started when Joseph overheard Asha and Dev talking about how the hoax call had delayed them. On the Wednesday episode, he eventually turned pale and sheepish and headed to the police station to accept his guilt. Initially, Kit was shocked to learn that he had made the hoax call but soon started to console him, saying that he “hadn’t killed anybody.” He also told him to learn from his mistakes.
Later, when Craig Tinker came to drop Joseph off at home, he told Chesney and Gemma everything. The couple could not believe what they heard and encouraged Joseph to tell the truth. Joseph soon blurted out that Hope forced him to place the hoax call. Chesney and Gemma then visited Tyrone and Fiz to inform them that their “twisted” daughter had put Joseph up to it. This led to another drama, as Abi and Kevin overheard their conversation, and Abi lamented that something could have been done to “save Mason.” Though Kevin gave the couple an earful, soon Abi felt perturbed.
In the meantime, Joseph still felt guilty and remorseful, though Bernie came in to console him. Later, she also spoke to Asha about her earlier remark that whoever made the call was “at fault” for Mason’s death and implored her to be kinder with her words.
