Regular followers of the ITV soap know that Charlotte Jordan, Sue Cleaver, and Colson Smith are the next three, all set to exit. This comes after Corrie fans bid adieu to Helen Worth, Kate Ford, and Luca Toolan. But fear not, Weatherfield fans – three iconic legends have officially solidified their place in the cobbles.
Even though the sudser seems to be going through a significant change right now. Fortunately, some familiar faces are sticking around on Corrie. According to the Mirror, William Roache, Sally Dynevor, and Michael Le Vell will continue to portray their roles as Ken Barlow, Sally Metcalfe, and Kevin Webster, respectively, for at least another year. Long-time viewers know that Michael and Sally have played their alter egos since 1983 and 1986.
Furthermore, the duo are now married to new partners, Abi Webster and Tim Metcalfe. As for William Roache, he has been in Weatherfield since the very start in 1960. He has also been listed in the Guinness World Records as the longest-serving TV star in a continuous role. It is also noteworthy that Sue Devaney will leave the cobbles soon as her character, Debbie Webster, is diagnosed with dementia.
