Coronation Street star Georgia Taylor is again making it to the headlines after a split from her long-time boyfriend. The actor started dating her on-screen husband two years back, but after a long relationship together, it seems like the couple has split up. Georgia met Charlie, now her ex-boyfriend, on the sets of the ITV soap, but it wasn’t love at first sight. Charlie played her onscreen husband, Imran Habeeb, for five years, but his character was written off in a heart attack during a car crash back in 2022.
The following year, the couple revealed their off-screen romance on social media with a series of selfies taken while they were off to a concert in London.
Even though the couple had an age difference of almost 10 years, it never became a roadblock in their romance. The duo was even seen roaming around Manchester arm-in-arm. But recently, there have been speculation that the couple had probably called off their relationship. This year, the couple spent their Christmas away from each other—fuelling more speculations.
However, the sources confirm that the couple is on good terms even after the breakup. Though the reason behind their breakup is not revealed, the couple has been focusing on their personal lives and careers. Previously, Georgia dated Mark Letheren, whom she met on the set of Casualty in 2008.
