Congratulations to our very beloved Bethany Platt from Coronation Street, aka Lucy Fallon, as she welcomes her second baby. Back in August 2024, Lucy announced her pregnancy with her boyfriend, and on January 11, 2025, they welcomed the little one. The couple already have a son together, and now, with the second child, their family seems complete.

The 29-year-old actress took to Instagram yesterday to share her newborn daughter’s picture along with the happy news with her followers. The little one looked adorable in a white and pink onesie with “little sister” written on it. The actress captioned it, writing, “Our teeny angel girl is here!” and soon fans, friends, and colleagues showered their love.
The couple already has a son named Sonny Jude, whom they welcomed early in 2023. While announcing their second pregnancy, the couple posted a video on Instagram and captioned it as “Halfway there!”. Fleur East congratulated the actress, while Ellie Leach wrote how beautiful the little one was. Even her Corrie co-star Jane Danson also chimed in to wish the best and asked the actress to enjoy the special time.
When Lucy announced her pregnancy back in August, her fans were initially in the dilemma whether she would return to the screens or not. But the actress was quick to clear the cloud and said she would come back to the floor as soon as she pops out the baby. However, we can’t help but speculate whether she will be called back to the floor or not.
