It looks like the Ben Mitchell actor has found a fresh start as he shapes the next generation of talent. Ex-EastEnders Icon Lands A New Gig

EastEnders legend Max Bowden, best known for his portrayal of Ben Mitchell, has landed a new role a year after leaving the soap opera. Long-time viewers have known Bowden since 2019, and the popular star has now transitioned into teaching acting workshops since he departed from Walford. According to sources, he will be hosting a masterclass in screen acting in a few weeks.

For the unversed, Bowden is working with The Actor’s Training Hub, iampro, which is owned by his co-star Charlie Brooks, known for playing the role of Janine Butcher. It has also come to our attention that Max individually offers acting lessons, which are priced at £36 per session. These classes are conducted at the drama academy founded by one of Max’s other co-stars, Jacqueline Jossa.

The legendary actors teach the younger generation about industry insights, monologues, confidence building, and other things. Along with his teaching role, Max has always been open about his experience on the BBC soap. He recently spoke to A Youngish Perspective and admitted that his life has changed a lot after leaving the show. He also added, ‘I don’t party anymore; I’m just interested in being a better dad and a better person overall.’

Bowden also highlighted, “EastEnders is one of the hardest gigs, if not the hardest gig, in acting. Because a lot of the time you have to strip away your technique and rely on impulse.” The soap star has changed his acting approach after leaving the longest-running serial drama.
