EastEnders Icon Jonny Freeman Is Leaving?
EastEnders icon Jonny Freeman might be leaving Walford, according to the Daily Mail. Long-time viewers know that the actor has been portraying the role of an awkward accountant and a killer for two years. However, a few reports now relay that Freeman has filmed his final scenes and will depart from the BBC programmer later this year. It looks like Reiss will finally receive the punishment he deserves.
This comes after The Sun reported that several cast members were spotted at Freeman’s farewell party near the show’s production home in Elstree and Borehamwood. Some of them reportedly were Natalie Cassidy, Aaliyah James, and Charlie Suff. Jonny made his debut on the show as a relative of the late Dot Branning for her funeral in December 2022.
Later, he became a love interest for legend Sonia and impressed the audience with some lovable and comic storylines. As for his current stint on the show, Reiss is currently running around to support his fiance, Sonia, who was wrongfully accused of murdering Debbie Colwell. Viewers know that Reiss was actually the one who killed his wife and let his partner take the fall for his crime.
