The recent courtroom drama has initiated wild fan speculation as some fans are convinced that Roy probably has a long-lost love child. Some fans have even figured out who it can be—and honestly, we couldn’t completely deny the speculations. While no confirmations have come from the show bosses yet, the idea has left fans questioning how much they know about Roy’s life before Weatherfield.
Roy came to the cobbles back in 1995 and has remained a staple ever since. Though he was initially brought in for a few episodes in the role of a sinister—he slowly made a place in the audience’s heart with his awkward yet loveable character. Since then, he has been at the centre of many crucial storylines—and especially his marriage with Hayley Patterson; the first transgender character, made him memorable to us all.
However, when Hayley passed in 2014 with no children of their own—we hardly expected anything from his past. But now, it seems like he has been hiding a lot from us. This week, during Lauren’s courtroom trial regarding Joel’s murder case, things took a turn. Brie, Lauren’s prison inmate, has joined hands with Gus, Joel’s father, and accused Lauren of attacking her. Though it was a lie, viewers couldn’t help but notice a stark resemblance between Brie and Roy.

Get her gone.” While another chimed in to say, “Does anyone else think she looks like Roy?
