Per The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, Murielle drops some inside scoop on Daphne’s motives. In a chat with Soaps.com, she first dismisses the crazy theory that has been making rounds. Is Daphne Ridge’s daughter? “No, I don’t think so,” Hilaire teased, pointing out how her character’s first glimpse left him enchanted.
Instead, Daphne is laser-focused on a far more important thing or person. B&B spoilers suggest that Steffy hired this French firecracker to seduce Carter. Why? It’s all part of her big plan to bring Forrester Creations back to its “rightful owners.” However, Daphne might actually start falling for Carter along the way.
Murielle admits, “There is some intrigue there.” But, please don’t jump the guns thinking Daphne’s swapped her cunning mind for a romantic heart. According to Hilaire, the newcomer loves to play with men’s hearts. So, is this love or just another move on her chessboard? And let’s not forget poor Hope Logan.

Hope Isn’t Even Daphne’s Competition
Daphne is gunning for her man, and she doesn’t even feel bad about it. Additionally, Hilaire brushed off any possibility of her character feeling guilty, saying, “I don’t think so.” From her French perspective, love and relationships are much more fluid. In fact, Daphne doesn’t even see Hope as competition. Confidence is her other name!
“She hasn’t been overthinking her assignment. She doesn’t even see Hope as an obstacle,” Murielle reveals. Furthermore, the B&B actress warns that Daphne isn’t here to play by anyone else’s rules. She puts it this way, “Relationships are tough… it’s hard to go through everything together and stay together.”
