In the previous episodes of Emmerdale, viewers saw Aaron reeling in guilt for killing Anthony. While he scrambled to piece his emotions and made sense of it all, John, his boyfriend, decided to take the lead. He not only cleaned up, but stashed Anthony’s body somewhere. Up until now, everyone believed that it was Aaron who had killed Anthony, including Aaron, however, another surprise awaits.
The most recent episode saw Ruby confessing to Aaron that it was, in fact, her who killed their dad. Her rage got the best of her. She felt she had no choice but to put an end to this menace of a man. Now, at this point, we do not know if Aaron would out Ruby or if they would decide to keep this secret hidden, but we do know big twists are coming.
Viewers Weigh In
In fact, many fans believe that they have indeed figured out the next twist in the Anthony saga. Many fans believe that John has disposed off Anthony’s corpse in the lake. Remember the hand in the Icy Lake preview we saw a little while ago? Many fans believe that it is indeed Anthony’s hand.
Taking to social media, a fan says that they think that they are getting a flashback of the future of the show, they wonder whether it could be John who really killed Anthony and not Ruby or Aaron. They added that probably sometime in February, we will get to see this whole disposal of the body as a flash forward. The body will float, and when the car crash storyline rolls out in the coming weeks, they will find Anthony floating there.
Adding to this, a second fan says that they think that we are all surely going to see the flash forward at some point where someone will be pushing a body into the lake or the river. They believe that it would be Anthony’s.
