EastEnders Celebrates Anniversary In Style!
The BBC has confirmed two special EastEnders-themed shows to celebrate the 40th milestone week. Fans know that the longest-running soap is all set to complete four decades on screen later this month, which will be completed with a special live episode on February 20. Before that, we will see legendary stars on two BBC shows, Celebrity Antiques Road Trip and Celebrity Bridge of Lies.
The Antiques Road Trip episode will air on February 14. It will feature Max Bowden and Danielle Harold reuniting as they head to the Cotswolds. The duo will compete to uncover antiques and try to sell them at auction. The Lola Pearce actress will dive into mannequins and binoculars while Ben Mitchell, the star, looks at history and film culture with a toy from a famous spy movie.
After this, on February 15, Celebrity Bridge of Lies, hosted by Ross Kemp, will bring Adam Woodyatt, Michelle Collins, Micah Balfour, and Molly Rainford together. The iconic soap stars will try to win a contest while answering soap-based questions to raise money for their chosen charities. Along with this, the BBC soap is also prepping up for a new documentary called EastEnders: 40 Years on the Square.

This film will take a deep dive into the history of soap and its storylines. It will also highlight the change in audience’s perception over the years.
