Emmerdale star Liam Cavanagh is gearing up for a big moment in the soap as he decides to propose to Chas Dingle. Though their relationship is still in the early stages— the doctor is set to take the leap. The doctor has had his heart set on popping the question after hearing about a special raffle at Take A Vow, with a limo ride as the prize.

Liam’s excitement, however, faces an unexpected hurdle when Kerry wins the prize instead and arranges a girl’s night. Determined not to let his plan fall apart—Liam enlists Mandy Dingle to orchestrate a surprise proposal by setting up a separate limo for the boys. While Liam may see this as the perfect romantic gesture, it seems Chas is unaware of what’s coming.
Lucy Pargeter, who plays Chas, has hinted that her character is not quite ready for such a commitment. She said, “Chas has no idea at all. I think it’s all-new, as she’s not been out of her marriage for long. She’s very, very quick to jump from relationship to relationship. I think she’s quite happy with how things are going and that it’s quite a slow burner. I don’t think she expects him to take that next step.”
Meanwhile, what was meant to be a fun night out quickly becomes a nightmare for Liam, Chas, and 15 other characters. Soon, both vehicles go off the road. The night soon takes a terrifying turn when one of the limos crashes onto a frozen lake. This leaves all the passengers in a life-threatening situation.
