Emmerdale fans have already witnessed a dramatic week as 17 villagers head off for a night out that takes a deadly turn with the car crash. During Valentine’s Day, two limos filled with residents set out on what should have been an evening of fun and romance. But nobody knew about the disaster waiting for them.
Liam’s Grabs Proposal Plan Takes A Nosedive
Among the characters caught up in the chaos is Dr. Liam Cavanagh, played by Jonny McPherson, who had an entirely different plan in mind before the tragedy set in. Speaking about the upcoming storyline, McPherson said that Liam is preparing for a grand romantic gesture—he is set on proposing to Chas Dingle in a way that truly reflects his love for her.
Jonny commented, “Liam plans to propose to Chas but do it excitingly and romantically. He’s heard Take A Vow has organised a Valentine’s raffle, with the prize being a trip in a limousine. So Liam decides he will buy up about eighty percent of the tickets to ensure he’s the winner.”
However, things do not go according to plan. Kerry Wyatt wins the raffle instead and dashes Liam’s hopes of a picture-perfect limo proposal. But determined to make his plan work, Liam arranges for Suzy Merton to hire another limo. However, problems do not leave him. The women decide to make it a girls-only night, which leaves Liam with no choice but to change the course.
Instead of proposing to Chas, he joins the men’s limo for a night out. But he is completely unaware that the evening is about to take a horrifying time soon. The soap bosses have already confirmed that the Valentine’s Day trip will end in disaster, with both limos involved in crashes.
While the details of who will live and who will die are still under wraps, one of the vehicles ends up plunging onto a frozen lake. Now, only the upcoming Emmerdale spoilers can reveal the rest. Until then, stay tuned to Soap Opera Daily for more soap updates.
