EastEnders Icon Ricky Wants To Return Full-Time?
EastEnders legend Ricky Groves has opened up about his potential future on the soap after he and Cliff Parisi made guest appearances this week. The iconic duo, who are best known for their roles as Garry Hobbs and Minty Peterson, appeared in Walford for one night. They surprised the viewers by joining Billy and Honey’s joint stag and hen do. Groves enjoyed his time on the Square, and he might be planning to return full-time.
While speaking about his sudden comeback, the popular actor said, “It was a lovely day. It felt weird because I hadn’t been there for 14 years. So it was great to see my old buddies and to meet some of the newer cast. Only wish I was there for more.” Their lovely return also brought the update that Minty is now married.And Garry was living in his spare room as his relationship with Dawn didn’t work out.
Garry actor also talked about Minty and his character’s friendship and added, “I don’t know where they came up with that idea, but we were always a double act towards the end. Garry and Minty were the Laurel and Hardy of the 2000s.” As for Cliff, he was glad to reunite with his former co-star. He also mentioned that he made him laugh a lot on the day they were filming. But, wait- there’s more! Garry and Minty weren’t the only surprises.
West Ham captain and current Premier League player Jarrod Bowen also recorded a special video for Billy ahead of his big day.
