Yep, Mathison’s GH character, Drew, has been stirring up the controversy. The issue? At one point, the character romances Nina and her daughter, Willow, at the same time. Mind you, the latter was married to Drew’s nephew, Michael. For fans, it feels way out of character for the usually honourable guy.
However, all hell breaks loose when Drew uses Willow’s influence to manipulate Michael’s medical treatment. It’s no wonder GH fans are seeing red. In real life, Cameron recently lost his home of over a decade to the Los Angeles wildfires. He described his neighbourhood as “completely decimated, like completely, as if nothing has been built.”
A Supermarket Attack
While he and his family are safe, the reality of losing nearly everything is still sinking in. But that’s not all! A few weeks ago, the soap star had a rather fruitful encounter in a supermarket. He was just out grabbing groceries when a GH viewer recognized and cornered him.
They were like, “I hate Drew Cain,” and boom- A flying apple was thrown at Cameron. Despite his real-life troubles and the on-screen drama, Mathison handles everything gracefully. Here’s hoping his luck turns around soon and his worries fade away.
