However, they couldn’t help but slam her robotic approach and lack of chemistry with other cast members. These include Ridge, Steffy, and Brooke, her rival. “It’s so painful watching her attempt to play Taylor,” they added. Ouch. So, what’s the deal? I have never been a Taylor fan and this new recast just cemented it for me. However, I truly believe RB is a wonderful actress, she is just not Taylor.
Taylor is a useless character. Always has been. She needs to leave for good but this recast is horrible. She’s not a good Taylor at all. She has zero chemistry with Eidge. Their scenes are cringeworthy. This was a miss. I’m not sure what they were thinking but it isn’t working. Just get rid of Taylor permanently finally and put us out of our misery
I wish they would just write Taylor out of the show. But i like this one better than Krista Allen. She was nit good at all for the Taylor character. And B&B needs to write better scripts. Its getting awful.
I agree this choice was the wrong one for being Taylor… she’s the mother of a big fashion house executive, and look at her clothes, hair, make-up? It’s just not the type of woman Ridge would be taken to. Her personality is also lacking largely as she’s a psychiatrist … educated and has lived a very comfortable lifestyle and should reflect that … I like how comfortable she is in her relationship with Ridge, but she also looks too young to be Steffy’s Mom… we need a sophisticated Taylor who not only looks but acts more like the woman / character they made her from the start … 🙂

I think this Taylor is too young to play the part of steffy mother and Ridge ex-wife she looks more like her sister than her mother and a older daughter daughter to Ridge, all this years have passed she cames and go and she didn’t age like all the actors except the young ones Taylor should look her age like Brooke and all the others actors in the show, and her acting doesn’t fit her she is always waiting for Ridge to leave Brooke when they have a fight and she’s there to take him back he loves her and he uses her sooner or later he will go back to Brooke and she waits again this new Taylor doesn’t fit the part if she’s going to stay give her a new love that really love her and she’ll get over Ridge anyway I wish they get rid of Taylor for good close her chapter im tired of this stupid story line get new writer for God sake it’s getting boring writer get it together write something new .

I think all of the above answers about Taylor is correct. She’s not the correct actress for this character, she appears to look more like a sister to Steffi, no charisma or it factor, no magic with any of the other artist, no reason for being there, other than to cause problems for Brooke and Ridge. It’s not just that the writing is bad, which it is, because most of it is unbelievable, it’s we don’t like Taylor and see no need for her to be there, In essence, she needs to be gone.
I agree! I think RB was great in her other roles but to me she does not realistically present a true Taylor persona. She could be an older sister to Stephie but not her mother!

I also agree with all the above comments but not the one about Brooke, I like her but wish she would ditch Ridge for good she deserves better. Taylor & Ridge roles should just disappear as Ridge is so pathetic and so into himself. Hope also needs to get some happiness and Steffy, don’t get me started on her-she is worse than Taylor.
taylor is unsufferable. the ‘ broken heart syndrome’ bs was for the birds. it’s a made up term for convenience imo. hope needs an attitude adjustment, carter and the french chick are sizzling hot, steffy and finn are iffy, the young folks need more airtime, sheila and deacon have disappeared, and ridge and brooke better get back together for good! if i missed anyone…they weren’t worth mentioning. the writers have lost their minds!!
I don’t care what you think about Taylor’s acting. I’d rather see Ridge with her instead of Brook yapping about Ridge being her destiny and her being his Logan. Omg. Are we in high school?
Well Taylor is still there so writers are not listening to us at all, I guess they would rather see there ratings plummet. Steffy is now going to be so into Liam since his accident, wonder if they will try to pin this on Luna to put her behind bars where she belongs. Why hasn’t Bill or Hope been informed about Liam-CRAZY! Brooke needs to just go be with Bill or bring on another love interest for her, she deserves better also. Hope does need to adjust her attitude but give her a good love interest who won’t disappoint her. Who is going to be the father when she comes up pregnant. That Daphne character needs to go back to where she came from, doesn’t she have a business to deal with?????
