Soap operas absolutely love bringing back villains who go MIA, rot in prison, or just die. General Hospital has followed suit as fans have seen them popping back when they least expected it. Interestingly, there’s one baddie on the loose whose return can take Port Charles by storm! The man unleashed his terror in 2019 by escaping from Steinmauer Maximum Security Prison in Switzerland. Gotcha? Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roché) it is. Is he coming back?
General Hospital: A GH comeback? Roché Isn’t Saying No!
General Hospital spoilers can confirm that no prison has seemed to hold Roché’s Jerry for too long. In fact, the conversation between Robert Scorpio and Jax made it clear Jerry is still out there. Meanwhile, Sebastian has built an impressive career in primetime TV and film post-GH.
Currently, he’s grabbing eyeballs for his role of Father Renaud in 1923, the Yellowstone prequel. During the promotion of the TV series, Roché gave GH fans something to chew on with a tease about Jack’s fate. Guess what? The actor isn’t ruling out the ABC soap comeback! He told US Weekly, “Never say never. No one ever dies (on GH). I don’t know how many times I’ve died.”
Moreover, Sebastian is still not over his menacing stint. Remember his memorable debut during the Metro Court hostage crisis in 2007? “I had no idea it would be so big, but in a way, it was a blessing,” he revealed. So, where does Roché think Jerry Jacks has been hiding all this time?
What Is Jerry Jacks Up To?
The GH alum replied, “He’s probably in the Caribbean in some beautiful villa. A bit like (James) Bond.” Laying low in the South Pacific will also do. After all, our bad guy who travels incognito needs a little R&R in paradise, right? While Sebastian is busy writing, directing, and producing the right script can bring him back to Port Charles.
Does the soap star miss his fellow GH mates? “I remember the kindness of every single cast member.” Roché wanted to push the boundaries, and his co-stars were game. The question remains: Will he return? For now, Sebastian is making waves with 1923, starring Hollywood legends Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren.
