However, Marlon disliked their growing bond. Determined to keep them apart he blamed Dylan for stealing ketamine from the vet’s surgery, leading him to go to rehab while Marlon decided to take care of his expenses.

Mark Charnock who plays Marlon has revealed April’s next move. He shared that she fakes a drug overdose to teach Marlon a lesson. Describing the intense scene he explained – Marlon walks in and finds his daughter lying on the floor with an empty vial of Ketamine beside her. He calls this moment horrifying and instantaneous.
Initially, it appears as though April is dead, leaving Marlon to scream for help. But then April gets up and says, that is what Karma feels like! He also praised her performance and admitted that it is quite awful for a parent to go through all this. However, the storyline explores the impact of broken trust.
Marlon goes a step further and hides a tracking device in April’s coat. However, Rhona finds that and warns him that he has gone too far and urges him to stop. Mark says that he understands Marlon’s fear of losing April but this is a clumsy mistake. When Rhona sees a Bluetooth notification he is forced to confess.
