EastEnders spoilers suggest that the BBC soap is all set to revisit the Cindy Beale mystery again. In the recent episode, Lauren seemed to be upset with Peter as he missed their baby’s first scan. He promised her earlier that he would accompany her for the same. But it seems something else caught his attention.
He received a call from his mother’s friend Gita that Cindy was missing. He got busy with his family drama and missed the scan. To make up for his mistake, he got down on his knees to propose to Lauren in the presence of his family.
Peter will ask her to marry him by saying, “I want a life with you, Lauren Branning.” But it seems she is not still ready to take this big step with Peter. She will refuse his proposal and walk out, which leaves him feeling devastated. Later she explains why she cannot marry him as of now. She says, “We don’t even know if it was me that hit her in the head, do we?” Here she is referring to her painkiller addiction and memory loss due to that. Lauren added, “I can’t shake the feeling that it was me, that I attacked her.”
