EastEnders fans seem to be really impressed by Bex Fowler’s return. Her comeback was announced last month. She returned to Walford to bid goodbye to her beloved father Martin, who lost his life in the aftermath of an explosion. It all happened at the Vic during the 40th anniversary celebration. Now it seems that fans have truly loved her comeback and want to see her more on their television screens. Here’s what fans said about the actress.
EastEnders Fans Call Bex’s Return BRILLIANT
EastEnders legacy character Bex Fowler recently returned for her father’s funeral. She reconnected with her mother, supported her younger sister Lily, and tried to get her back on track. She stayed back in Walford for a while after the funeral, as she wanted to be with her mother.
But this week she departed with her mother Sonia and aunt Bianca. Her time on the soap was short, but the fans really loved watching her for a few weeks. Few of them took to social media, demanding she be made a permanent resident of the Square.
A viewer wrote on X, previously known as Twitter, “I was never her biggest fan during her original stint, but I very much enjoyed Bex this time around. It was lovely to see how she’s matured in the last 5 years, and I really hope they don’t recast the role in the future.” Another fan account of the soap added that ‘it was really a welcome return this time.’
One fan also wrote that it was “a brilliant mini stint for Bex”. The fan hopes that this is not the last time he is seeing her on the soap. He added that as long as Lily is there on the soap, the possibility of returning back is high.
“So glad that Jasmine Armfield returned for the role,” a fan penned. Earlier, from 2014 to 2020, Bex was a regular part of Walford and the soap. Later her exit came as she decided to travel the world and left Albert Square in an emotional scene. It will be indeed a delight to see her back on the soap full-time.
