Michelle Opens Up About Vanessa!
When Vanessa got drunk in the Woolpack and shared the secret about Tracy, it looked like the actor was going for the Best Comedy Performance Award. The actor, Michelle Hardwick, who plays Vanessa, shed light on her character and the storyline.
She shared that Vanessa is terrible. Though she was morally correct by exposing Tracy’s actions, she worsened the situation by spilling the theft secret in front of many people in the pub.
Michelle also spoke about the scenes of the plot. She revealed that she added a few pieces that weren’t a part of the script. She added that she watched them with Kate and enjoyed the scenes. The actor said drunk acting is the hardest, as one could play it well or make the character look ridiculous. She shared her favourite scenes where Vanessa was in the toilets while Rhona was there with her feelings distressed.
Michelle Throws Light On Charity And Vanessa’s Bond!
The Emmerdale star mentioned that Charity is happy with Mackenzie while Vanessa is single. There is no conflict between them. They are doing great. Michelle shared that Suzy and Mary’s relationship was fantastic.
She shared that she was surprised to learn about the storyline. Vanessa was going through a tough time, and the person who helped her was Mary. What followed was devastating.
Michelle added that when Vanessa threw the drink on Louise Jameson, who plays Mary, while they were shooting the scene, she felt bad. So, as soon as the scene was over, she went to her to apologise and ask if we’re hurt.
The actor added that in the context of the soap, she believes that Vanessa’s reaction was normal, as anyone would have reacted that way despite the age difference.
