Cain Begins His Investigation!
The people in the village think that Nate Robinson left the village for a new life when he got the job in Shetland and it’s strange that he hasn’t contacted his family for once. Meanwhile, the soap fans are aware that he never left the Dales.
In fact, he was accidentally killed by John Sugden, who always tries to frame situations so that he can prove himself a hero at the end. However, John failed in the case of Nate.
When Cain hit Nate badly, John helped him by giving him some painful medication, but that gave him a bad reaction, eventually leading to his death. Later, John disposed of his body in the lake.
He was also responsible for tampering with Chas’s medicines and framing Ella. However, in the upcoming episodes, his secret about Nate might be out. Cain starts to find Nate, as he hasn’t been in touch for so long. When Tracy gives him a card on Nate’s birthday, he realises that Frankie has also wished for her father.
John Creates A Blunder!
Cain starts to investigate his son. He tries to call Nate’s number to get his new address, but ends up leaving a voicemail. Meanwhile, John Sugden, who is possessing Nate’s phone, hears the voice-mail.
However, the story takes a turn when Cain calls again. John gets anxious and accidentally picks up the call from Cain. For a moment, the call runs, but then John cuts the call, leaving Cain suspicious.
Then Cain tells Moira about the call. She urges him to continue the investigation. When Nate asks Tracy about Nate’s new number, he realises that she doesn’t have his new number and that his son has abandoned his family. After spending time with Tracy and Frankie, he decides to go to Shetland to find Nate.
