EastEnders spoilers suggest that the Queen Vic will reopen next week. Well, it seems that this celebration might come with a wave of sadness, too! Linda and Carter will be thrilled to announce that Queen Vic will reopen on VE Day.
But it seems that their decision will face a backlash from the local residents. Zack and Mo will speak for the rest of the residents. They will tell Linda that the celebration is a really bad idea. As many of them are still not over what happened in the explosion.
Which also led to everyone’s favourite Martin’s death. Well, it is very obvious that this is not what the owners will be expecting as a response. Linda will be feeling low, as she will feel sad for Elaine. Her mother was too excited to get back to the bar.
Moving further, Alfie will try to boost her up. He will remind her that wounds will heal with time and the business will be back as usual before anyone can know! But it seems that she will not budge from her decision of keeping Vic shut for an unknown period.
Nigel Will Be Confused Again
On the other hand, Phil will be exhilarated to see Nigel being excited for the upcoming VE Day celebration. He will then get confused and believe that it is 1995, and he will be thinking that Walford is going to celebrate the 50th year of VE Day.
Later Jean and Phil will go to Linda and request that she organise the reopening and combine it with the 80th anniversary. It will then click with her that it is a good idea, as they can pay tribute to those who lost their lives, including Martin.
As she sees everyone’s high spirits for the upcoming anniversary, she will decide to go ahead with Phil and Jean’s plan. It seems that soon the gates to everyone’s favourite place, Queen Vic, will be opening soon.
