However, the actor believes both guys are committed to developing something concrete, something strong, something resembling a future.
Upcoming episodes will dig deeper into Theo’s struggle with his identity. Viewers will see him open up to both Todd and Billy Mayhew, explaining why he kept his sexuality buried for so long. Theo reveals that he was raised in a devout religious household, where he was subjected to conversion therapy, arranged by his own parents.
As for James, Theo is still trying to come to terms with the extent of the harm that’s been done. He explained that even though Theo realizes the therapy wasn’t acceptable, emotionally accepting it is much more complicated. What he desires now more than anything is to be happy. And for the first time, he feels he could do so with Todd.
