Last year, the soap had major storylines, including the tragic limo crash, April’s time on the streets, and Belle and Tom’s domestic abuse storyline. These have been nominated for the upcoming British Soap Awards. The producer promised more exciting storylines ahead, with Sarah Sugden’s baby plot taking the centre stage.
Soap viewers have already seen that Sarah doesn’t want a relationship, but expressed her desire to Vanesaa to have a baby through IVF. She even told them she had also talked to the doctors regarding the IVF. Laura Shaw said that this will be a long-running story. She added that the plot would take over the next twelve months or so. She said that Bear Wolf will also steal the limelight. She hinted that a big storyline is coming ahead for Bear. Laura revealed that he would go missing for some time, and when he comes back, he will be in a different situation. Fans are going to be surprised and think what has happened.
The producer said that big stuff is waiting for Aaron Dingle and Mackenzie Boyd towards the end of summer and into autumn. She said that they have planned life-changing episodes for the two characters. Laura said that they haven’t forgotten about the glimpse they showed at the New Year. That might happen soon.
