Joe Tate has made many enemies in the village. When he was diagnosed with a chronic kidney disease, he made a plan to steal Caleb’s kidney as it was a perfect match. Although his plan was successful, Caleb eventually discovered the truth.
He hired a co-conspirator to stab him and brought him unconscious to the clinic, and performed the surgery. After that, Caleb hit him, but they reached a stalemate as Joe knew about Anthony’s disappearance.
During Lydia Dingle’s party at the Home Farm, Joe’s secrets were exposed. Before this event, Billy found out about Joe and Dawn’s affair. Many people wanted to confront Joe Tate. However, Joe tricked the police authorities. But the party took a turn when someone pushed Joe out of the window, giving him a head injury. Then, in the latest episodes, Dawn confessed that she attacked Joe because he hid all her secrets.

In Tuesday’s episode, police questioned Dawn about the statement. Billy Fletcher also supported her statement. However, Billy and Dawn were worried about what they would do when Joe woke up. Billy suggested that Dawn say she broke up with Joe Tate. Meanwhile, the police also asked questions to Charity and Noah.
Billy told Dawn he had told several villagers they were back together, but Dawn wasn’t sure. Elsewhere, Jacob Gallagher informed that Joe was recovering.
