Daisy Campbell who played Amelia Spencer in the soap left the village in December. She played this character for 13 years. In the soap she decided to move to Leicester and live with her biological father, Daz. He was involved in Tom King’s lies and scheming. Besides that Amelia was part of many challenging storylines including becoming a teenager mother.
During her recent Instagram Q&A session with soap fans, Daisy Campbell disclosed that she has been busy since the past five months. She added that she has so many opportunities to look ahead this year. Daisy didn’t reveal much about her upcoming projects. The former Emmerdale star wrote on her Instagram story that so much has happened in the last five years and it is so exciting. She added that she was proud of herself for grabbing the opportunities and pushing herself so much this year.
Daisy Campbell Is Excited For The New Role!
Daisy Campbell earlier disclosed that she will continue acting even after leaving Emmerdale. She hinted that she would take new challenges after her role as Amelia. The actor started playing the role when she was a child so she didn’t think about it seriously. But when she turned 13, she decided that she wanted to do this. While leaving the show, she realised that she loved acting so she is open to every acting opportunity.
The star added that it was the perfect age to leave the soap as she had no responsibilities. So, she can do whatever she wishes to and grab every upcoming opportunity.
