Home and Away spoilers: David Scolds Cash For Involving Tane
Home and Away spoilers have confirmed that the new guy has no link to Jeremy’s old character. The show’s official Instagram page shared a trailer introducing the new cop in town! Sergeant Langham joins Yabbie Creek Police Station, and boy he’s a tough cookie.
Upon arrival, he starts bossing around and calls Cash Newman out for not playing by the rule. What did Eden’s boyfriend do? He thought bringing Tane Parata along on a risky rescue mission was a good idea. It’s the one involving Theo, Lacey, Sonny, and Dana, who the River Boys ambushed earlier.
Additionally, the sergeant doesn’t mince words and scolds Cash, “You allowed a civilian to assist in a dangerous rescue operation.” He reminds him that policemen aren’t supposed to take their mates on such deadly missions. But wait, there’s more! The trailer also drops hints about the new cop, teasing he’s harboring “a deep, dark secret.”

Now, OG fans know that H&A doesn’t throw around lines like that unless things are about to get serious. At the station, David runs into Lacey, and this isn’t your average small-town reunion. “So, it is you,” he says, shocked but trying to play it cool. Lingham adds, “It’s so good to see you,” to which Lacey replies, “I can’t say the same about you.”
Meanwhile, Cash observes this awkward moment and wonders what is up with them. Soon, David reveals that Lacey is actually his daughter. Are we in some for secret family drama? Probably. Next, the cop tries to warm up to Lacey, asking, “Is this really how it’s going to be?” However, the girl stays firm and says she wants nothing to do with him. Oops.
