Chelsea discovered that Hayley was pregnant and, naturally, went straight to her mum with the news. And let’s just say, Dani did not cope. Martin had already known there was trouble about and kept out of it, which, to be honest, was probably the wisest thing she’d done all day.
Dani went into full meltdown mode. She ranted about Hayley being an attention-seeker and, before long, was accusing her of faking the pregnancy altogether. In Dani’s head, Hayley’s big plan is to fake being pregnant, then fake a miscarriage, and use all the sympathy to finally get everyone—especially the Fairmont Crest crowd—to accept her.
Beyond the Gates: Is There Any Truth to It?
This isn’t the first time Hayley has had dealings with baby news. She had a pregnancy scare quite recently that turned out to be nothing. So although Dani may sound quite mad, the timing of it all is causing concern.
And Hayley hasn’t provided any evidence yet, no scan photos, no tests, just her testimony. And immediately before she told Bill, she was complaining about how tired she is of constantly coping with his ex and the kids. A baby could be her method of diverting attention back to herself.
Let’s be honest, Dani isn’t exactly known for her calm, rational thinking. She’s loud, emotional, and jumps to conclusions. But she’s also sharp when it counts. And in a town full of secrets, it wouldn’t be the first time a wild theory turned out to be true.
