He shared that after Day 1 on the mountains he started to feel “somewhat tired”. He attested to experiencing shortness of breath climbing a few flights of stairs, wheezy, some congestion after some cold snowy conditions, and a headache developing.
“I had hydratied all day, so into the night I drank a bottle of Pedialyte and NyQuil’d myself out for the night to be ready to tackle BRECK w/the boys the next morning,” Greg recounted in his Instagram caption.
Unfortunately, the rets did not get his health back on track and by the end of Day 2 he was feeling even more unwell. That’s when he decided to seek emergency care. At the Urgent care, he found out that his blood oxygen levels had dropped to a 54%, which is very low.
The beloved Days of Our Lives star then had to take several bags of IVs and oxygen support through a nasal cannula. Only when his levels were up to a 95% was he allowed to level the urgent care.
Interestingly, Greg recounts that the medical staff advised him to return home straight away. But he didn’t want to ruin the fun for his boys. Thus, he decided to stay another day with the oxygen supply strapped to his face. The Days of Our Lives actor stated that his boys took great care of him, which is so heartwarming to know!
