Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had another change in their staff. PEOPLE confirmed that in the recent week, four members of the couple’s team have left them. The staff members who parted ways include Kyle Boulia, a deputy press secretary based in Los Angeles, and Charlie Gipson, a U.K. press officer. They joined them last year.
Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex hired Meredith Maines as their first chief communications officer. She has previously worked for Google, Hulu and American Idol. Furthermore, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry also hired Emily Robinson as a new director of communications.
Emily used to work with Netflix. However, the couple continued to work with a team from Method Communications. Meanwhile, last year, Ashley Hansen, the couple’s global press secretary and head of communications, also left them as she started her own communications firm.
Maines Share The Couple’s Strategy!
Furthermore, Josh Kettler, who was Prince Harry’s chief of staff, also parted ways after three months. A source told HELLO that there would be another change in the future as the couple have hired some of the most incredible people at the work, but things don’t seem to work out.
Maines said that as the couple’s business grows, they have decided to shift to a more traditional approach. They will transition from a team of two agency support staff to eight who will operate across five different time zones. This will help stakeholders and international media to get better access.
