Shebz Miah joined the soap earlier this year. He plays the character of Kammy Hadiq. He entered the village and soon ended up with Ross Barton, doubting him as Ross was accused of stealing the quad bikes. However, Kammy stole them from the farm. Meanwhile, when Sarah met him, she fell for him and they ended up in a love triangle as Jacob Gallagher had dumped her over the death of his mother, Leyla Harding.
But soon the love triangle broke as Sarah Sugden was no longer interested in relationships and wanted to have a baby. Meanwhile, earlier, Shebz Miah, who plays Kammy Hadiq, shared that he was excited to join Emmerdale as everyone had been so welcoming. They made him feel like he was already a part of their team. Elsewhere, in the soap, Kammy and Vinny became good friends. When Vinny Dingle forgot his and Gabby’s kiss anniversary, Kammy offered to help him make the arrangements.

However, in Friday’s episode, things took a turn when Vinny leaned in to kiss Kammy. Vinny felt embarrassed and passed it off as a joke, so Kammy playfully said that he was trying to hurt his feelings. Shebz Miah, who plays the character, opened up on the scenes and shared that as Kammy is so playful and free-spirited, Vinny got mixed signals and tried to kiss him. He added that Kammy knows Vinny is going through a lot, but it’s a big thing for Vinny. Meanwhile, Kammy will always support him on his journey.
Shebz Miah shared that the thing that would affect Vinny is that he is going to marry Gabby soon. Though Kammy isn’t affected by the kiss, it has opened up a different perspective on the relationship. Kammy has a soft spot for him as they are good friends.
