EastEnders: Stacey Returns, But Kat Isn’t Buying Her Excuse
Stacey returns to Walford with Hope and Arthur after taking a break following Martin’s death. Jean and Mo are thrilled to see the family reunited. However, Stacey’s happiness is short-lived after Kat shows up.
Kat asks Stacey whether she is okay after noticing her nervousness right away. Stacey tries to hide anything by claiming that she misses Lily and Charli, who are still with their father, Ryan.
Kat decides to leave it alone and focuses on the mess Tommy and Joel have stirred up. She vents to Stacey about the boys and her frustration with Alfie for ignoring her calls.
Kat’s furious that Alfie is not around when she needs him most. But while Stacey covers up her awkwardness and claims she has not heard a word from Alfie, the truth is out later.
Jean lets the cat out of the bag and says Stacey had had a call from Alfie that morning. Kat’s baffled. Why should Alfie talk to Stacey and not her?
Kat Faces A Life-Changing Secret
Kat begins digging for the truth. She calls Alfie’s brother Spencer to find out what is going on. It does not take long for the truth to surface: Alfie is not in Australia, as he had said.
He has been deceiving Kat and keeping her in the dark. And he has an accomplice.
As Kat puts the pieces together, she realises Stacey has been speaking with Alfie behind her back. Angry and upset, Kat confronts Stacey face-to-face. She wants to know the truth and back. They are both lying to her.
What Kat does not yet realise is the reason why they have been keeping it a secret. Alfie and Stacey have been working to find Zoe Kat’s estranged daughter. They have already spotted her but haven’t said anything to Kat.
