EastEnders Teases Zoe’s Return As Stacey Raises Eyebrows
Zoe Slater returned to Walford unexpectedly this month, two decades on from her first appearance. She caught up with Stacey and Alfie, but soon it transpired she was in flight from something.
Zoe flew to Barcelona before Kat could catch sight of her. Alfie lied to Kat and said he was going to Australia. He went to Spain, determined to bring Zoe back.
Meanwhile, Stacey returned to Walford after staying with Zoe. But she was soon reminding Hope and Arthur not to say where they had been. She did not want the whole story to get around.
Jean attempted to fill Stacey in on all that had happened while she had been gone. But her focus soon turned to Stacey’s evasive answers. She started to suspect that Stacey was not telling her the whole truth.
Kat Grows Suspicious As Stacey Tries To Keep Zoe A Secret
Kat later arrived and teased Stacey about coming to her next wedding with Alfie. But beneath the surface, there was tension. Stacey’s strange behaviour hadn’t escaped observation.
Things came to a head when Mo arrived and Jean explained what she had heard. Hope had spoken to her and said that a woman had been staying over at the flat. Stacey said the woman was “just a friend”, but Kat was not convinced.
She warned Jean that Stacey was certainly keeping something from her. Stacey tried to take the heat off herself by turning the conversation to Alfie instead. But once Kat had gone, she left a voicemail for Alfie, demanding he sort things out quickly.
