Things were just starting to settle between Todd and Theo in Coronation Street but as we saw on Monday night, peace never lasts long on the cobbles. What began as a quiet morning ended with a warning that’s got us all wondering what Theo’s really capable of.
Millie’s Lies Start Catching Up With Her
Over the past few weeks, Todd and Theo have grown closer, but it hasn’t been smooth sailing. Theo’s still dealing with a lot around his sexuality, which isn’t surprising considering the pressure from his family and how he was brought up. It’s made things a bit tense between them at times.
Then came Millie’s surprise pregnancy announcement. But as viewers quickly figured out, she wasn’t actually pregnant. She’d made the whole thing up to get Theo back into the family home.
In Monday’s episode of 30th June, things started off with Theo cooking breakfast for both Todd and Millie. But Millie clearly wasn’t happy, especially when Theo told her he wouldn’t be coming on the family holiday. On top of that, he was called into school to discuss Millie’s recent absences, which added even more stress.
Later, while Todd and Millie were at the café, he gently told her he knew she’d been lying. Millie came clean and said she panicked after Theo moved out. She just wanted him back. Todd suggested she take another test and say the first one was a false alarm. Millie agreed to go along with it. Todd also asked her to stop interfering, reminding her that he and Theo were actually happy together.
Theo Reacts and It’s Not What Todd Expected in Coronation Street
Just when it seemed like things might calm down, Millie dropped another bomb. She told Theo she’d been to an abortion clinic, and made it sound like Todd had told her to go. As you can imagine, Theo wasn’t impressed and went straight to Todd with the accusation.
But it didn’t take long for him to realise something didn’t add up. After thinking it through, Theo finally saw that Millie had lied again. This time, Todd had nothing to do with it.
Even so, the damage had been done. Todd, feeling overwhelmed, headed to the Rovers and bumped into James Bailey. One thing led to another, and they ended up back at Todd’s flat. They almost kissed until Theo walked in and caught them hugging.
At first, Theo didn’t say much. But his tone changed quickly. He told Todd to stay away from both Millie and James. And if that wasn’t unsettling enough, he later pulled James aside and told him to stay out of his business or they’d be “exchanging more than words.” That definitely didn’t sound like a friendly chat.
Is This the Real Theo Showing?
Theo’s warning has left a lot of fans wondering if there’s more to him than we’ve seen. He’s always seemed a bit closed off, but now there’s a slightly darker edge showing. And with Millie still stirring the pot, things could easily spiral again.
Todd, who just wants to be with someone he cares about, now finds himself stuck in the middle of lies, tension, and veiled threats. And James, who just got caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, might be in trouble too.
