In the recent episodes, Bear Wolf has been behaving strangely. Paddy Kirk and Mandy Dingle are concerned about him. He also tried to talk to his father about it, but he shut him down. He even attacked his son when he found out that Paddy Kirk and Marlon tried to take his dementia test. Bear argued with Paddy and insulted him, telling him that nothing was wrong with him.
Meanwhile, in the recent episode, during a fight with his son, Bear Wolf got in his car and drove away from the village. But will the soap fabs ever see him again? Though it looks like Bear will permanently leave the village, he will come back, but not for a while. A few months ago, the soap’s producer, Laura Shaw, told Bear would disappear for a while, but when he comes back, he will be in a different situation. Paddy returned home and lashed out at Bear, telling him that it would be better if he left. Bear decided to go to Ireland but soon found out that his plan had failed. However, he still left feeling like a burden on his family.
Elsewhere, Joshua Richards, who plays Bear in the soap, said that he had never seen his character like this before, so something big might be coming up for him. He said that it is helpful when one is given an interesting plot to play. The actor added that he feels safe as he is surrounded by sympathetic story writers and great directors. He added that Paddy will feel guilty. Paddy will realise that he overlooked something important, and that realisation will play a major role in Paddy’s plot.
