Ray Is A Complex Character!
In Tuesday’s episode, a newcomer arrived in the village. Ray came to buy Lewis Barton’s weed. When Mack’s plan failed, Robert sold him the drugs. Meanwhile, the character is much more than a drug dealer. The soap’s producers announced at the start of last month that Joe Absolom will play Ray. He has worked in Doc Martin, The Bay and Code of Silence. However, he became popular as Matthew Rose in EastEnders between 1997 and 2000.
Elsewhere in the soap, he purchased weed from Robert, but he is going to bring chaos to the village. The soap’s chiefs hinted at the upcoming storylines. He arrives at the farm claiming to be selling farm machinery, but soon his drug-dealing motives come forward. The producer, Laura Shaw, said that though the character is charming and charismatic, he is an extremely complex character. He shows his dark side to some of the villagers, making them dubious. The actor said that Ray wants to take weed and distribute it among the villagers.
Ray Will Spark Chaos In April And Dylan’s Life!
Meanwhile, Dylan Penders is coming back soon. He left to go to rehab to get rid of his drug problems. He will bring troubles too. Elsewhere, Joe Absolom shared that when Ray arrives in the village, he always has cash. So, one should be careful of such people. No one knows why he has so much cash, but he soon starts talking to Dylan. Meanwhile, Fred Kettle, who plays Dylan, shared that his character will bring back some of the past experiences. Furthermore, the plot would bring in April, too. Joe revealed that he is sharing scenes with Amelia Flanagan, who plays April. Soon, April and Dylan will get into trouble.
The soap wants to explore County Lines drug dealing. It is a gang that targets youngsters and adults to sell their drugs in smaller towns. Hollyoaks also explored this topic. Meanwhile, Joe said that he is a small-time crook, but paying cash to a child isn’t good. Ray comes and wants to sell drugs just like the County Lines.
