Diane Parish’s Touching Tribute To Clair Norris
Denise Fox actress Diane Parish expressed her admiration for Clair on social media, even though their characters were archenemies. She retweeted a farewell video, praising Clair as “a wonderful talent” whose comedy and drama left her stunned.
“Gonna miss her bright and positive energy. Go well, beautiful girl,” Diane posted warmly. The actress also left a post on Claire’s Instagram, stating that she and co-star Matthew James Morrison were “two of the most beautiful people inside and out”. Their friendship went well beyond the scripts they shared on location.
EastEnders: Clair and Matthew’s Emotional Goodbye Leaves a Lasting Impact
Clair also wrote a heartfelt message to Matthew, who plays Felix on the soap. “Bernie &????????B… I think our lives crossed paths for a reason,” she wrote. “I could not have been more grateful to have you at my side on our last block.” Matthew responded with equal emotion: “I love you, Clair Hayley Norris.” The Bernie actress replied in tearful emojis and the single word “Stop”, feeling quite overwhelmed.
Although Clair’s departure was announced first in May, she considered this week what it meant to leave. Speaking to a source, she said, “Of course it is sad, but it felt like a natural end… I am now very excited about the future.” For more EastEnders spoilers and updates, stay tuned and keep following Soap Opera Daily.
